Banjo Resonator,
Maple or Mahogany
Our Banjo department has been busy tooling up for and constructing these high quality banjo resonators.
These resonators are constructed using traditional bluegrass banjo resonator techniques. The side wall is made of three plies of domestic hardwood. The inner-most ply is hard maple, the center ply is poplar, and the outer ply is either mahogany or maple.
The back is made of three plies of domestic hardwood, the inner two being poplar, and the outer ply being mahogany or maple.
They are perfect for new builds, as well as replacements for existing banjos with missing or damaged resonators. They come "in-the-white," ready for you to stain and finish to your own particular needs.
Dimensionally, this resonator will fit nicely around a 13 1/8" dia. banjo flange. The inside of the wall has the traditional taper. The outside diameter is approximately 13 5/8".
We now offer these resonators with our without binding channels. Our standard channels measure .090" deep X .290" wide.
I am certain you will be pleased with this resonator. If, for some reason you are not pleased with it, I offer a full refund of the purchase price, if returned in the condition it was sent to you.
Thank you , and Happy Building!!!
